Free Printable Poker Run Score Sheet | PDF Downloads – A free printable poker run score sheet is the simplest way to keep a charity ride, club run, or marina event fair. Riders draw cards at checkpoints. The sheet records each card so the best poker hand can be ranked at the finish.
This page explains how a poker run score card works, what to print, and where to download legitimate free templates. Paid Etsy and shop listings exist; the links below go to template or PDF pages that offer a free download or free fill-and-print option.
What a Poker Run Is?
A poker run is a group event, most often for motorcycles, but also for boats, ATVs, Jeeps, snowmobiles, or even walking routes. Participants follow a set course and stop at five to seven checkpoints. At each stop they draw one playing card. The goal is the best five-card poker hand at the end. Winning is chance, not speed.
Many U.S. runs raise money for local charities, veterans groups, firefighters, or motorcycle safety programs. Entry fees often cover prizes, food, and a donation. Some events also award the worst hand.
Cards are usually written or stamped on a poker run tally sheet rather than handed to the rider as a physical five-card pile. That keeps the hand official and harder to swap.
What a Poker Run Score Sheet Does?
A score sheet (also called a score card or tally sheet) is the rider’s official record. A usable sheet typically has:
- Rider name and rider or ticket number
- Club, chapter, or team name
- Space for five to seven cards (rank and suit)
- Checkpoint or stop numbers
- A volunteer or judge initial box
- A printed list of poker hand rankings
- Tie-breaker notes (high card or kicker)
Organizers collect the sheets at the last stop and rank hands. Clear printing on U.S. Letter (8.5″ x 11″) paper makes that job faster.
Where to Get a Free Printable Poker Run Score Sheet?
Use no more than you need. Preview each file before you print a stack for registration day.
1. Poker run score card template (grid + rankings)
Download the FormsBank poker run score sheet template.
This layout uses a rank-and-suit grid (A through 2 across the four suits) plus a full ranking list from royal flush to high card. It is a practical starter sheet for a standard five-card run.
2. Rules and score sheet on one form
Download the PLL poker run rules and score sheet.
This version prints common event rules with the tally area: cards only at designated stops, no duplicate cards, extra sheet required for a second hand, riders must be present to collect prizes, and judges’ decisions are final. Handy if you want rules and scoring on the same page.
3. Direct score sheet PDF
Open the free Poker Run Score Sheets PDF.
This is a ready-to-print file with name, cabin/club fields, suit columns, and a printed ranking chart. The “cabin” field is easy to ignore or relabel as bike number for a motorcycle event.
4. Fill online, then print
Open the TemplateRoller poker run score sheet.
Use this if you want to type names before you print, or save a filled PDF for your event file. Confirm the download is still free on the page before you rely on it for a large print run.

How to Use the Score Sheet on Event Day?
- At registration, write the rider’s name and number on the sheet. If someone buys a second hand, issue a second sheet before the first card is drawn.
- At each checkpoint, the rider draws one card face up. A volunteer records rank and suit, then initials the box.
- No duplicate cards in the same hand. If the same card appears again, the usual rule is to draw a replacement.
- At the finish, collect every sheet. Rank hands using standard poker order.
- Ties are often broken by high card or an extra draw. Print that rule on the sheet so it is not argued at the picnic table.
Clipboards, a black marker, and a few extra decks at each stop prevent most delays.
Poker Hand Rankings to Print on the Sheet
Print this list on the back or bottom of every poker run score card so volunteers do not have to look it up:
- Royal flush
- Straight flush
- Four of a kind
- Full house
- Flush
- Straight
- Three of a kind
- Two pair
- One pair
- High card
Aces play high except in a wheel straight (A-2-3-4-5). Kickers break ties when two riders have the same pair or two pair. Some charity runs also award “worst hand,” which is simply the lowest ranking, not a separate scoring system.
What to Print for a U.S. Event?
- Paper: 8.5″ x 11″ Letter. Cardstock holds up better on a tank bag or in a boat.
- Quantity: one sheet per paid hand, plus 15–20% extras.
- Weather: a gallon zip bag or a laminated master ranking poster at scoring.
- Legal extras: a waiver, route map, and emergency contact line are not part of the score sheet but belong in the same registration packet.
- Permits: large public runs may need local event, park, or gaming review. Check your city or county before you advertise prizes.
Motorcycle clubs, marina associations, and volunteer fire departments across the U.S. use this same paper system. Digital scoring apps exist, but a printed sheet still works when cell service drops on a rural route.
Quick Tips for Organizers
- Use a fresh or well-shuffled deck at each stop.
- Mark the sheet only after the card is shown to the volunteer.
- Keep a master list of rider numbers at the start so lost sheets can be matched.
- Announce whether missed stops are allowed. A four-card hand rarely beats a complete five-card hand.
- Post the ranking chart at the scoring table.
- Require riders to be present for prizes if that is your rule.
FAQ
Is a poker run score sheet the same as a poker night scoresheet?
No. A home-game sheet tracks chips or pots. A poker run score sheet tracks cards drawn at checkpoints on a route.
How many cards should the printable include?
Five is standard. Print a seven-stop version only if your route has seven draws.
Can I photocopy a free template for my whole club?
For a nonprofit or club event, printing copies for participants is the usual use. Do not resell a designer’s paid file as your own product.
Do I need a special form for boats or ATVs?
No. The same printable poker run score card works. Change the header to “Boat #” or “Machine #” if you like.
Where should I send people who want the file?
Send them to the free template and PDF links in the download section above rather than to paid marketplaces unless you have already bought a custom design.
A clear score sheet keeps the ride about the route and the cause, not about who remembered which card. Print a test page, check the ranking list, then copy enough sheets for every hand you plan to sell.
