Free Printable Five Crowns Score Sheet – Looking for a free printable Five Crowns score sheet? You’re in the right place. Five Crowns is a popular five-suited rummy-style card game for 1–7 players (ages 8+) that’s a staple at American family game nights. The game runs over 11 rounds with rotating wild cards, and keeping accurate scores is essential because the lowest total wins.
A dedicated score sheet makes tracking easy across all rounds (from 3s wild through Kings wild). Below you’ll find clear scoring info, practical tips, and direct links to legitimate free printables and digital options—no invention, just real resources you can use right away.
Why You Need a Five Crowns Score Sheet?
Five Crowns uses two 58-card decks (five suits: stars, hearts, clubs, spades, diamonds; ranks 3–King plus Jokers). Each round deals one more card than the last and makes that rank wild. Players form books (sets of the same rank) and runs (consecutive cards of the same suit).
At the end of a round, only unmatched cards score against you. A printed or digital score sheet prevents math errors, tracks running totals for up to 7 players, and keeps the game moving smoothly. Official scorepads are sold by the publisher (PlayMonster), but free alternatives work great for casual play.
How Scoring Works in Five Crowns?
Card values are straightforward:
- Number cards 3–10: face value
- Jack: 11 points
- Queen: 12 points
- King: 13 points
- Current rotating wild card (left in hand): 20 points
- Joker: 50 points
Matched cards in books or runs score zero. The player who goes out scores 0 for the round; everyone else gets one final turn, then adds the value of leftover cards. After 11 rounds, the lowest cumulative score wins.
Always double-check wild-card values each hand—they change and can swing the total quickly.
