This guide explains the flag’s design, shares the best legitimate download sources, and gives practical tips for printing and using a free printable Palestine flag.
Understanding the Palestine Flag Design
The flag of Palestine features three equal horizontal stripes—black on top, white in the middle, and green on the bottom—with a red triangle based on the hoist side. The design draws from the 1916 Arab Revolt flag and has been used to represent the Palestinian people since the mid-20th century. It was formally adopted by the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1964 and later by the State of Palestine.
The colors are traditionally associated with Arab heritage: black, white, green, and red. The official proportions are typically 1:2 (height to width). Accurate free printable versions match these colors and proportions so the result looks correct when printed.
